afternoon. morning sleep was the best man. though a bit hot larhx. but then still can sleep until noon.
today is saturday. supposed to be at the connect conference. however cause need to go for church services early to serve as ushers. ii decided not to go. seriously, it was very fun to be with the crusaders for anything. ii don know why but ii just felt that way.
as ii was blogging today, ii was actually thinking back on the past 16 years of my life. how ii treated it. how much ii love it. how much ii wish for things. basically everything that happen to my life. if uu were to ask me why ii would suddenly say this is because recently, ii just got better with my family as well as God. yupps.
thinking back...
1. ii have done seriously some stupid stuff that cannot solve anything in my life
2. ii never learnt how to treasure the love for God
3. ii never knew how much ii actually love to be with my family
4. ii am glad that ii am placed in this family because HE has a greater plan for me
5. everything that ii have gone through is part and parcel of how HE wants to nurture and groom me
6. ii never knew that life with God is really very great and life without is nothing
the list goes on. and ii just can't finish writing it. so ii just least some of the important ones. yupps. as ii say before. school is starting and these are my goals:
1. to work really hard
2. to attend all lectures, tutorials and practicals
3. to FOCUS on the things and "love" them even of ii don really am
4. to spend more and more time with my friends
5. being able to achieve a GPA of 2.8 (hopefully 3.0) after year 1
having all this, ii can say that ii might have change to be a person that learns how to appreciate life better and treating it in a way that God wants me to. and for now, ii am at home and will always pray for the strength of God to even go through the toughest time as school starts on monday. and that's all ii like to write for this entry. will update when school starts on monday. and ii need to practise my piano now. byebye

my 1st mission trip report (owed)
I really love the first mission trip to Batam which is 2 days and 1 night. And I have learnt many things there from the small things they do till the big things that they do.
On Saturday, 3rd February 2007, we as a team together with pastor cuixian met at harbour front at 730am to go to batam. Actually we are supposed to get onto the first ferry which is 8am. However because the ferry was fully booked so we have to take the 930am ferry to batam. During the check-in, none of us were caught because of the CPU that we are bringing over but just to go through the baggage check-in counter, so it was not as scary as other people put it. When we are at the ferry, some of them took the motion sickness pills. But luckily I was able to withstand the motion of the ferry so I did not take the pill. During the 1 hour, all of us slept through the journey because we were tired since we have to wake up very early in the morning.
After 1 hour, we have reached batam and when we are at the batam centre, pastor sara came to pick us up to go to our next destination, which is the prison for a service then. During the prison ministry, we did the dance and had joel to share his testimony. Because of the time constrain, I did not share my testimony which I supposed to. Then Michael preached the Word of God to the prisoners which is translated by one of the interpreters. What touched me most in the prison ministry is that to see the people there worshipping God with whatever they have even though they are in prison because of their wrong doings. After the prison ministry, we went to the bible college to have our lunch as well as to put our bags down because all of us are sleeping in the bible college. Our lunch is prepared by the students there and it was super delicious. After lunch, we had a mini worship with the bible students. Although we did not really know the bahasa song well, at least we tried our best to sing after they have given us the lyrics for us. Then we prepare ourselves for the house visitation in the late afternoon. But before that, we went to another church to rest for a while as well to meet the pastor of that church, pastor rubi and also to interact with the bible school students. At there, we practice our dance again to perfect it. In that church, we also played zip zap boing with the bible school students and they enjoyed the game. me and Michael have to do the victory dance because we lost. When we were playing, pastor cuixian talked to pastor rubi and later the whole team prayed for pastor rubi that her church will grow in numbers. After the prayer, we separate ourselves into 3 teams and went for the house visitation together with the bible school students who also are our interpreters. The people in our team are me, Rachel, joel, Michael and pastor cuixian together with other 2 bible school people. In total we went to 3 houses. However, what impacted me the most is when I was able to practice my gift of prophecy whereby I spoke what God wants me to speak to a couple about not worrying too much as God has plans for all of us. This only happens for the first house but it was fine with me because God will still move in the other 2 houses.
After the house visitation, we went back to pastor Rubi’s church to get change for the service in our formal wear. Before the service, we ate some refreshments to fill our stomach. Then at 630pm, we prepared ourselves for the service by being ushers to welcome the people. It was totally fun man to welcome the people in bahasa. When the service start, the worship was so powerful that even though there were quite little people there in that church. And I believed that god will continue to move in that church and multiply it. During the performance of the dance, we had a bit of change in the plan whereby we have a live music played by the bible school people. And I was the one singing the song while the rest continued to dance. From this I learnt that the people learnt how to play just by hearing the music and not seeing the chords like how we do it and also they are very helpful and willing to do it even though we did not ask them to play. After the dance, lixin and shawn shared their testimony and then jeannette preached the word. The word was so wonderful and powerful and I could sense that God is indeed moving in that place, in their hearts, changing and molding them into a better person. After the sermon, we prayed for each and every one in the congregation as well as a special prayer for pastor rubi by the church people themselves. Then it was dinner. Very delicious and we had cucumber mango syrup. When dinner was served, me and Winnie decided to serve kukok’s wife so we took her share and gave it to her. However, she kept on running away from us but in the end, she took it and I could really see that she enjoyed it. After dinner, we went back to the bible school to rest. Then at 11pm, we had our discussion for the next day’s programs for the children’s ministry. After that, the girls went to our rooms and discussed about the mini skit for the children and we managed to finish it before 12 midnight.
On 4th February 2007, Sunday, we woke up at 7 plus in the morning to have our real talk and seriously, I felt really stressed about what is said then especially about sense of urgency but I still agree with what is being said. At that time, I felt as if the whole blame was being pushed to me because I did not really rushed the girls as I am trying to control myself from giving too many harsh words. After the real talk, we had breakfast prepared by pastor sara. Then we went for service just below our rooms in the bible school. Because we need to go for the children ministry, we only attended the worship and then perform our skit for the congregation there. When we were at the children ministry, we did a mini skit for them and after that played games with them. I could see that the kids are having a lot of fun playing the games and also they are very enthusiastic. Because we had limited games and the time is running quite slowly, we taught them our dance moves as well as some songs. While teaching the dance moves, the adult service was actually having the altar call for the whole congregation. At that time, the adults could hear the “earthquake” that we are creating above them in the second level. But however, it did not affect them much. From this, I really learnt that even the kids in this country are really enthusiastic in the things they do especially when they are praying to God.
After the whole service, we went to a place beside the bible school to have our lunch. It was pastor sara’s treat and I am really grateful for her. Without her, there are many things that we are not able to do then. The lunch was good. When lunch was over, we went back and packed our things because we are heading back home soon. Since we had about 1 hour left, we sat in 4 groups to do some sharing and encouraging one another. Before we left, pastor cuixian told all of something that I also want to see It come to past which is that the bible school students there can come to Singapore to attend the rhema conference that we had for this year and also for the following years and so. After the wonderful time of sharing, we head back to batam centre and before we left batam in the ferry, we did some shopping in the mall. At 3pm, we went to the ferry and later head back to Singapore. This is when the whole Riau island mission trip ended for this 2 days.
Through this mission trip, I have really learnt many things that I can use it for the rest of the years. Firstly, about the way we should worship God, it is not a rountine but is a way to glorify God. Secondly, we should be warm towards one another as how the congregation in Batam were. And lastly, having the sense of urgency to do things that we must always keep track of time. I really hope that I can go again because as I was writing this report, I really miss the people that we interacted there.

boating off...
heyy people.. ii am boating to batam on 3rd feb 2007 because of a mission trip. feeling quite excited and happy to be able to experience the thing. because me and eddie will be leading the team there as we were appointed the leaders. eddie is the head. yupps. this is also the first time ii lead a team to overseas. truely when people ask me if ii am stressed, ii will say no but actually ii am stressed cause of the burden of the duties. umm. nevermind about that cause ii know that ii will have a fun time there ay batam with pst cuixian. today went for rage berry jam and it was good. and God used serene to prophecise to us and she told me that God will give me the wisdom and then ii will be the diamond among the raft. so cool right? ii have never receive this type of things before from someone that ii am not so close to. yes. ii was quite shocked at first but in the end, ii accepted it. haha. ok. with this ii will end here.

my week
hello. it has been long since ii last put up a post. umm. how was REAL? fun, great, but tired and very busy with the projects. really learnt a lot things about self-leadership for the past week. it was taught by pastor matthew. the greatest lesson is servanthood where he really literally wash all of our feet as what jesus did to his disciples. ii was really very touched deep down in me although ii did not shed a tear but really, ii was really held back at first. ii did not know how to reply to him lorhx. he prayed for each of us specifically. that was actually the greatest lesson ii ever learnt. the memory verse quiz was badly done because it was really quite tiring for us as we also need to prepare the event coming up which is part of our project. each of us have many things to do. ii was the programme coordinator with michael. this week went to NTU cell at their school campus. very big and nearly lost our way. climb up and down the stairs going everywhere. maybe because we were new there. in the cell, ii get to know huifen, ricky, zhaoli, jolene and michael. ricky led worship and huifen taught the word. after cell we had dinner at canteen 13. all of us ate korean food and some others ate ice cream wafer. it was so delicious man. rare chance. while eating saw one of their campus cheerleading team. really great. they were practising their stunts. nice to see. ii really like the presence being at NTU. it felt great to me. yupps.

what have ii done ?
peps. 1st week of the proper real program where there is bible classes. one in the morning and one in the afternoon. tired and busy. ( and exhausted?? ) but let me reply to tags first. no don want. very tired to open my blog and see. read on___
tuesday
went to grace one because of pastoral devotion that we have to attend in the morning at 9am. (only for tuesday). then after the pastoral devotion first bible class for the day where we get to learn bahasa. funny but interesting. hard to learn in one day. many difficulties. then lunch. where the only word which is maaf is on our mind. free lunch. yes. during lunch pastor ronald came and talk to us about indonesia's toilet. haha. very funny. then second session of pastor jadene's bible study methods. where we learn the second half of the lesson which we stop during the lock-in camp. real talk short and sweet cause also not much thing to say.
wednesday
went to grace two to do devotion first. then pst kieran teach us on how to do our devotion. lunch at the coffeeshop near grace two. yupps. ate duck rice. my favourite. after lunch came back for a session on leading worship by samantha. haha. learnt a lot from her. real talk. ran out of words of encouragement.haha. really true.
thursday
morning devotion at grace two again. then group devotion. pst ronald playing the piano and pst kieran sharing devotion. didn't know pst ronald can play so well. nice playing. ii really like it. very solid lorhx. then learnt on how to do a devotional message. fasting lunch so never eat but we shared on our struggles. interesting to hear on each of our struggles. then we had the first session of OT survey by pst peter from the bible college. at first very sleepy but after that quite awake because very hungry. long for food at dinner time. at real talk. also not much thing to say than pastor kieran say that we do not need to go for the night thing. so happy. love it. we all then went to macs to eat our dinner than we learnt more of each other past.

morning devotion again. was late because raining. then last session of bible study methods where we got to do it practically on 1 john 4:17 - 5:5. about loving God and others. yupps. then lunch ate nasi briyani(don know spell correctly). second session on OT survey. a lot of pictures to see because we learn about the geographical aspects then. after that dinner which is instant noodles at meiyin's house. went to ya cell : epignosis. late because train delay. first experience on train delay. haha. cell ended at 10 plus going 11pm. went home at 11pm plus.

which is today. bible class at 2pm on evangelism by bro alex. really pity him because he always have to think of new things as ii will be there for all his sessions. haha. if not ii will be listening to the same old thing again and again and he also reminded me that ii attended three of the sessions that he held for the same topic. went early to eat lunch. ii really hate to say this but really sorry to roslina because cannot be with uu now as ii am really busy. but will promise that after that will be there for uu when uu find me. the ya svc. this week is missions convention week and tomorrow ii have to man the booth. think so. don know. ok. nothing to talk le right. end now.
